Why NAMM was amazing!

This has been a long time dream of mine, a trip to the National Association of Music Merchants. For a gear nerd like I am and a champion of the local gigging and home studio musicians, this was an amazing opportunity. I knew that I would be in a stupor looking at all the greatest musical equipment on the planet. I knew the booths I would visit! Line 6, Ibanez, Yamaha, Ernie Ball to name a few. But what I didn’t expect was the boundless, incredible music from everywhere.

One of my stops was in what Aaron Short and I dubbed “The Dungeon”. It’s the lowest level of NAMM where the quirky, strange, untried or unexpected can be found.

We were seduced by the ToneWoodAmp booth where we were rewarded with performances by Larry Mitchell, Mike Gallagher, and Eric Gales. They were all amazing showmen. You can watch one them below. We will be adding performance in the coming weeks.
